2015 Nissan Altima Buyer on TikTok Says Cars R US Sold Unsafe, High-Mileage Car with $600 Monthly Payment

TikTok creator @soufsidepinky, who is based in Atlanta, says she bought a 2015 Nissan Altima with 217,000 miles from Cars R Us in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and is making roughly $150 weekly payments, about $600 a month.

She says the vehicle lacked headlights, needed a wheel alignment and a control arm, and had contaminated brake fluid, and that Cars R Us dismissed her concerns when she returned the car.

She says she put $1,000 down on what the dealership listed as an $8,000 sale because she lacked good credit and urgently needed transportation; the video has drawn thousands of views and commenters criticized the payment and price.

In her caption she identifies herself as a mother of four and says Cars R Us gave her “the run around” for two weeks and that the car is undrivable and unsafe to operate at night.
