Nissan has revealed U.S.-spec details for the 2027 Nissan Z, largely carrying over the Tokyo changes and adding a six-speed manual to the NISMO Z ahead of its New York Auto Show debut.
The NISMO Z uses a recalibrated 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 rated at 420 hp with sharper throttle response and retuned Active Sound Enhancement and Active Noise Cancellation for amplified intake and exhaust notes in Sport. It adds Akebono two-piece front brakes (reducing front weight by 19 pounds), lower steering rack friction and revised dampers, and the Nissan Z carries over heritage touches such as Unryu (Shinkai) Green paint and new 19-inch Z Performance wheels; Z Sport and Performance trims keep manual options without the NISMO-specific hardware.
