Chevrolet rolled out a preview of the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport at the 74th 12 Hours of Sebring, leading a formation of historic Grand Sport Corvettes that included the original C2 Penske Grand Sport. The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport made a public first look ahead of its March 26 reveal.
The C2 Penske Grand Sport—one of five built for homologation with a 377-cu‑in small-block reportedly making about 550 hp—joined 1996, C6 and C7 Grand Sports in the parade. Observers noted the C8 Corvette Grand Sport’s Z06/E-Ray wide body, red hash marks and center-exit exhaust, and leaks and fan reports suggest a 6.7L Gen‑6 small block near 535 hp and a possible Grand Sport X with electric front drive.
