A private buyer has acquired a 1990 E30 BMW 3 Series 325i Touring and immediately sent it to Classic Bahnstormers for a comprehensive appraisal. The car appealed for its manual gearbox, limited-slip differential and Bilstein dampers, though the air conditioning is not working.
The appraisal, which cost £456, produced six pages of recommended works noting a leaky radiator, perished fuel hoses and a list of minor cosmetic items while confirming very little rust. The purchaser says the well-presented 325i Touring cost less than a new Renault Clio and plans to prioritize essential repairs to keep the classic BMW 3 Series.
