Chevy Says No Factory Manual for Mid‑Engine C8 Corvette

Corvette chief engineer Tony Roma said Tremec’s six‑speed manual transaxle shown at SEMA is "not real" and that Chevrolet has no plans to offer a manual for the mid‑engined C8 Corvette. He added that the eight‑speed dual‑clutch transmission makes the car faster and is the current production choice.
