Chevy will revive the Grand Sport nameplate for the 2027 Corvette lineup, offering a conventional gasoline Grand Sport and a new all-wheel-drive Grand Sport X.
The standard Grand Sport is based on the Stingray and adopts the new LS6 V8 rated at 535 hp and 520 lb-ft; it retains the outboard-exit exhaust with center-exit available and features chassis tuning similar to the Z51 package.
The Grand Sport X replaces the Corvette E-Ray as an AWD hybrid variant and produces 721 horsepower, effectively serving as a distinct, higher-performance Corvette model. Chevy says the Grand Sport will get unique interior and exterior styling with extensive personalization, and option packages and pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
