Hyundai announced in March 2026 that it will discontinue the Ioniq 6 for the U.S. market after the 2025 model year but will import a limited run of the high-performance Ioniq 6 N with refreshed bodywork in 2026.
The refreshed Ioniq 6 debuted in South Korea and had been slated for a U.S. introduction before the discontinuation; the high-performance Ioniq 6 N is the variant that wears the newer, sleeker bodywork unveiled by Hyundai.
Hyundai sold 10,478 units of the Ioniq 6 in 2025, down from 12,264 the year before, and Hyundai plans to bring the Ioniq 6 N to the U.S. in limited quantities in 2026. The limited U.S. offering will consist only of the Ioniq 6 N rather than the standard Ioniq 6.
