Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, posted on X that "something way cooler than a minivan is coming" after noting the Cybertruck can fit three child seats.
Musk made the comment on March 25 without offering further explanation, replying to a user who urged him to "MAKE A MINIVAN."
Tesla currently sells the Model 3 and Model Y and is producing the Cybertruck, but the company has not announced a new consumer three-row or minivan-style model.
Tesla is also developing commercial and mobility projects such as the Cybercab, a proposed Cybervan concept, a robotaxi initiative and the Optimus humanoid robot program, none tied to details in Musk's post.
