Mustang Returned After Five-Year Delay at Miller’s Performance, Owner Says Key Parts Missing

Customer Kevin Bickley received his 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 back from Miller's Performance and Restoration five years after he dropped it off for a six-month restoration, and the vehicle returned worse and missing major parts under a court order.

Bickley left the Mustang in October 2020 and paid $24,312 for a new transmission, wheels, interior and a Grabber Orange paint job expected by Easter 2021; the car largely sat and doors, hood, rear axle and front suspension were removed when returned.

WATE reported Corey Miller, the shop owner, blamed additional damage and unpaid parts and said a mechanic's lien should have been placed. Another customer, Jeff Ratliff, alleges similar issues with a 1956 Ford F-100, and a grand jury indicted Corey Miller in October 2023 on five counts related to unlawfully controlling personal property; he was arrested and has a trial set for April 2026.
