Mercedes-Benz unveiled the redesigned 2027 GLE midsize SUV family — the GLE, GLE Coupe and AMG GLE 53 — with refreshed exterior styling, increased performance focus and updated interior technology.
Exterior updates add star-shaped DRLs, a star-pattern grille with an illuminated central emblem and a glowing surround. The AMG GLE 53 receives a distinct grille, larger intakes to cool its hybrid inline-six, a louder exhaust note and up to 22-inch wheels, while the standard GLE and Coupe ride on 20-inch wheels.
The cabin centers on Mercedes‑Benz’s MBUX Superscreen, a single glass panel housing three 12.3-inch displays running on the new MB.OS with over-the-air updates. The system introduces an AI-powered virtual assistant that can browse the internet and handle multi-part conversations, Google Maps integration, AMG-specific displays and a camera-based gaze monitor that can dim the passenger screen.
Mercedes‑Benz previewed the redesigned GLE, GLE Coupe and AMG GLE 53 in Málaga, Spain as part of its plan to deliver 40 new or refreshed models by the end of 2027, and the 2027 GLE also adds an augmented-reality head-up display.
