Kia’s 2027 EV3 Shrinks EV9 Tech Into a Compact Crossover

Kia has introduced the all-new 2027 EV3, a compact electric crossover that brings EV9-level technology and amenities to a smaller, more affordable package after earlier availability in Europe and Asia.

The EV3 rides on the E-GMP platform and is offered with a 58.3-kWh standard pack on the Light trim or an 81.4-kWh long-range pack across Wind, Land, GT-Line and GT trims; DC fast charging supports roughly 10–80% in about 31 minutes and all versions use a native NACS port.

Kia equips the EV3 with nearly 30 inches of combined dash displays (two 12.3-inch screens and a 5.0-inch climate panel), dual-zone auto climate, reclining rear seats and optional HUD, heated/ventilated front seats, multicolor ambient lighting and a 360-degree surround-view monitor; AWD is available on most trims and the GT produces up to 288 horsepower.
