Subaru revealed the all-electric 2027 Subaru Getaway, a three-row SUV based on the 2027 Toyota Highlander that Subaru says differentiates itself primarily through power and distinct Subaru styling.
Most body panels are shared with the Toyota Highlander, but Subaru equips the Getaway with six-LED accent lights that display charge status, split taillight lenses with a Subaru wordmark, unique green and purple paints, 20-inch maximum wheels versus the Highlander’s 22-inch option, and higher-rated roof rails.
The interior largely mirrors Toyota’s layout with seating for six or seven, a 14.0-inch touchscreen running a Toyota-made interface, a 12.3-inch driver display and dual wireless charging pads; the Getaway can be optioned with leather and includes power-folding third-row seats as standard.
Subaru also offers a full suite of driver-assist and active safety features, including automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane change assist and adaptive cruise control.
