Haas F1 to Run Toho’s Godzilla Livery at Japanese and U.S. Grands Prix

Haas F1 has signed a promotional deal with Toho to feature Godzilla imagery on its cars for two races to promote the upcoming film Godzilla Minus Zero.

The livery debuts at the Japanese Grand Prix this weekend and returns at the United States Grand Prix in Austin in October, ahead of the U.S. premiere of Godzilla Minus Zero. The special design shows Godzilla breathing atomic breath from the engine cover toward the sidepod, and the film is described as a sequel to Godzilla Minus One that exists separately from the American Monsterverse films.

Haas F1 sits fourth in the Formula 1 championship after scoring points in the season’s opening two races, marking one of the team’s strongest starts. The Toho and Haas F1 collaboration covers only the two specified events to promote Godzilla Minus Zero.
