Air|Water, the Porsche-focused show spun off from Luftgekühlt, returns to the OC Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California on April 25 for its fifth overall event and third time at that venue.
Patrick Long, Porsche driver and Air|Water co-founder, said the show was created to expand the Luftgekühlt format, adding a live Porsche auction, an exhibitor hall and coverage of newer Porsche models and technologies.
Long cited the 2013 Porsche 911 GT3R — a Manthey Racing car in the Grello livery driven in period by racer Jorg Bergmeister — as a standout Air|Water moment.
Long said organizers hope to showcase the rare Porsche GT1 at Air|Water in 2026; the GT1 includes limited road versions and race cars that appeared during the transition from air- to water-cooled engines.
