Hailey Stiehl, a TikTok creator, said she waited more than three hours at a dealership to sell her vehicle and urged buyers to use Carvana after she bought a car online in under five minutes and picked it up in about 25 minutes.
Stiehl's original TikTok describing the three-hour wait and captioned "I think my personal hell is a car dealership" went viral with over 151,000 views, and she said the delay included more than an hour for the dealer to cut a check.
She recommended Carvana, saying the buying process took under five minutes and pickup took roughly 25 minutes from signing to driving away, and other commenters shared fast-buying experiences; Carvana advertises a seven-day return policy and a 100-day limited warranty.
However, Carvana has mixed reviews: the Better Business Bureau shows a 1.1-star rating from more than 2,000 reviews, and customers have reported delivery delays, refund and return problems, mechanical issues, and at least one buyer facing a $7,000 repair bill.
