Hyundai has confirmed it is developing two Ioniq concept cars called Earth and Venus and published teaser images showing distinct new front and rear designs.
One image shows a silver, cab-forward machine with chunky wheel-arch cladding and a Lamborghini-style intersecting-line lighting graphic replacing the Ioniq pixel signature. The other image previews the rear of a gold, rakish machine that appears to be a fastback coupé with a prominent lip spoiler.
Both images emphasise triangular forms and aerodynamic details, including a low-set scuttle on the silver car. A Hyundai Group teaser video ends with Chinese text, suggesting a possible appearance at the Beijing motor show or Milan Design Week, though Hyundai has not confirmed event plans.
Hyundai Europe CEO Xavier Martinet told Autocar the company is working to make its vehicles look more closely related, aiming for a cohesive family while avoiding identical designs. Martinet's comments link to the styling hints shown in the Earth and Venus teasers.
