Lance Stroll, a Formula 1 driver, will make his GT3 race debut at the opening round of the GT World Challenge Europe at Paul Ricard on April 11-12, driving an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 for Comtoyou Racing.
He will share the Comtoyou Racing entry with former Manor grand prix driver Roberto Merhi and Formula 3 race winner Mari Boya.
Stroll previously raced in the Daytona 24 Hours twice in prototype machinery, debuting in a Ford-powered Riley DP in 2016 before switching to Jackie Chan RC Racing’s Oreca 07, and he has since concentrated on Formula 1 commitments with Williams and then Aston Martin.
The Paul Ricard round runs April 11-12, and the official entry list names Lance Stroll, Roberto Merhi and Mari Boya as the car’s drivers.
