Genesis announced the G90 Prestige Black, a factory-blacked-out variant of its flagship full-size G90 sedan, and Genesis Canada lent a test vehicle for review.
The Prestige Black applies metallic black paint across the grille, exterior trim, five-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels and a specially engraved hood emblem to create a full blackout appearance.
The G90 uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with a 48-volt electric supercharger, an eight-speed torque-converter automatic, full-time all-wheel drive, and produces 409 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, with combined fuel economy listed at 20 mpg.
Genesis prices the G90 Prestige Black at $107,895 including freight in the U.S. and $121,500 in Canada, positioning the model in the shrinking full-size executive sedan segment.
