Pierre Gasly, Alpine Formula 1 driver, has been named a brand ambassador for Lacoste and will be the face of the brand's L.12.12 polo.
Eric Vallat, Lacoste's chief executive officer, praised Gasly's international career and affinity with tennis and golf when announcing the partnership, and Lacoste posted images of Gasly wearing the L.12.12 polo on social media.
Pierre Gasly has often spoken about his love for fashion, telling Sky Sports F1 in 2023 that "without him, things would be different these days," and he attended multiple shows during Paris Fashion Week, sitting front row at Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin and Bluemarble.
On track, Gasly has started the 2026 season with finishes of 10th, eighth and sixth in the first three grands prix and sits eighth in the drivers' championship, while Alpine is fifth in the constructors' standings as a Mercedes customer team.
