Land Rover's 2026 Discovery adds a new Gemini trim priced at $72,650 with family-oriented features including a center-console cooler, four-zone climate control and a hands-free power tailgate.
The Land Rover Discovery debuted in 1989 as the brand's third model built on Range Rover running gear and still offers off-road hardware such as standard air springs, an available low-range transfer case, a locking rear differential and Terrain Response modes.
At 195.1 inches, the Discovery is roughly the length of a Toyota Highlander, shorter than a Grand Highlander and much shorter than a Chevrolet Tahoe, and four adults plus two toddlers fit, though third-row seatbacks leave only a wedge of cargo space.
A 2021 midcycle update added new engines and an improved infotainment system, and the Gemini trim aims to boost everyday practicality for parents rather than alter the softer fifth-generation styling introduced in 2017.
