Saab 9000 Turbo Barn Find in Italy: Two Low‑Mileage 1987–1988 Examples Rescued

Two low‑mileage Saab 9000 Turbo cars from 1987 and 1988 were discovered in a dusty garage in Italy and rescued by marque specialists Zanetti Omero after a tip from members of the Italian SaabWay Club, Saabplanet reported.

The white 1987 9000 CC Turbo five‑door displays 242 km and the blue 1988 9000 CD Turbo sedan shows just 61 km (about 38 miles); both appear largely unused aside from storage dust, some mildew on seatbelts, and a missing headlight on the white car.

Saab 9000s of this era commonly suffer corrosion and worn interiors, making these preserved examples notable, and the 9000 shared the Type Four platform with the Fiat Croma, Lancia Thema and Alfa 164.
