Racing Bulls’ Arvid Lindblad Impresses in F1 Debut, Scores Points

Racing Bulls rookie Arvid Lindblad, an 18-year-old Formula 1 driver, has made a strong start to his 2026 debut season, scoring points on his Melbourne debut and delivering two notably impressive race weekends.

He was fast-tracked through the junior ladder by Helmut Marko, the former driver adviser to Red Bull, and spent the off-season preparing with factory work and tests in Barcelona and Bahrain before the double‑header in Australia and China. He visited Tokyo between China and Japan, attended a Red Bull Tokyo Drift event, and Racing Bulls revealed a Japan-inspired one-off livery.

Arvid Lindblad said he is trying to "get that balance right" between learning and switching off, and Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer told Motorsport.com that Lindblad has already impressed the engineering staff.
