In an interview with The Drive at the 2026 New York Auto Show, Bentley president and CEO Mike Rocco said the automaker's upcoming urban electric SUV will be priced comparable to the Bentayga and is on track to launch in the third quarter of 2027.
Rocco said Bentley will tease the model in Q3 2026 and expects the SUV to use Volkswagen Group's PPE platform, with styling influenced by the EXP 15 concept.
Customer clinics in Miami and Los Angeles found eight of 10 respondents would buy the electric SUV, and Rocco said dealer feedback in Lisbon was positive.
Rocco confirmed the urban SUV will be Bentley's only EV for now despite prior 2022 plans to launch multiple EVs beginning in 2025, and he said Bentley let Rolls‑Royce go first to see how the market settled.
