Roush Nitemare Brings Lowered Street-Truck Package to Ford F-150 XL and XLT

Roush has introduced the Nitemare package for the Ford F-150 XL and XLT, delivering a lowered street-truck conversion for base regular-cab F-150s and crew-cab models.

The package includes coilovers, twin-tube dampers, progressive-rate springs and upgraded sway bars with CNC-machined aluminum bushing brackets, which lower the front three inches and the rear five inches; Roush claims the setup gives the F-150 1g cornering ability.

Roush fits 22-inch wheels shod with 305/40R22 General G-Max AS07 all-season tires, slotted brake rotors and a cat-back exhaust to enhance the sound of the standard 5.0‑liter V8, which makes 400 hp and 410 lb-ft and is standard on the regular-cab XL (and a $2,340 option on the XLT).

The Nitemare costs $22,999 over the truck price — base regular-cab XL lists at $42,125 and crew-cab XLT at $50,850 (both include $2,795 destination) — is available at certain Ford dealerships, and carries a three-year/36,000-mile warranty; Ford Performance also offers a $10,250 Whipple supercharger alternative.
