Tesla Model 3 Exceeds 360,000 Miles After Third-Party Battery Swap

TikTok user 300k Mile Tesla (@300k.mile.tesla) reports his Tesla Model 3 surpassed 360,000 miles after a third-party battery replacement at 321,000 miles.

The TikTok user said the replacement battery came from Donut Auto Parts in California and was installed in August; the car still uses its original electric motor. In a viral video the odometer hit 360,000 miles and the account has since shown the car exceeding 371,000 miles.

He previously criticized Tesla's service department over auto‑hold error messages but later posted that swapping tires resolved the warnings and that he owed Tesla an apology for their diagnosis. Motor1 has reported on the 300k Mile Tesla account before, which documents long trips and maintenance updates.

He described the Donut Auto Parts replacement as low‑cost, while EV Dances estimates Tesla service-center battery swaps range roughly $12,000–$22,000 depending on model and pack.
