Mason Maggio No. 91 Chevrolet Engine Fire Triggers Red Flag at Bristol

Mason Maggio, driver, suffered a blown engine and large fire in his No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro on lap 194 of the NASCAR O'Reilly’s Auto Parts Series race at Bristol, prompting a red flag and an on-track fuel spill; he was helped from the car uninjured.

Mason Maggio told The CW Sports, "I'm all good," and later addressed viewers, reassuring his mother that he was fine after the blaze.

This was Maggio's fifth start of the season and his third DNF, following a lap-one crash at Daytona and an engine failure at Atlanta.

The race resumed with Kyle Larson, driver, leading over William Sawalich, driver, and Larson swept the stages. Connor Zilisch, driver, held off Larson on older tires to take the win after battling Brent Crews, driver.
