Hyundai Ioniq 5: Salesman Promotes 10–80% DC Fast Charging in ~20 Minutes

Hyundai salesman Cameron Alley highlighted the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5’s performance, range and charging in a social video with about 1,400 views, claiming 10–80% DC fast charging in around 20 minutes.

Alley noted available all-wheel drive, over 300 horsepower, a futuristic exterior with LED lighting, large digital screens, and an available ~300-mile range that he said suits daily driving and road trips.

Consumer Reports places the Ioniq 5 among models that can add 10+ miles per minute at DC fast chargers, alongside the Kia EV6, Genesis GV60, Porsche Taycan and Tesla models, noting many share 800-volt architecture and the Ioniq 5 can accept up to 240 kW.

Experts also caution that percentage charging times can be misleading because miles-per-minute matters more, and Midtronics warns fast charging generates heat that forces throttling—particularly above 80 percent—while charger congestion can further slow sessions.
