Williams Formula 1 team will attend the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed (9–12 July) with team principal James Vowles, 1996 champion and ambassador Damon Hill, reserve driver Luke Browning and three-time W Series champion and ambassador Jamie Chadwick; Hill will be reunited with his FW18 on the hillclimb and honoured on the Goodwood House balcony.
James Vowles said Goodwood showcases British motorsport and that reuniting Damon Hill with the FW18 is meaningful as Williams marks 30 years since his world title. Damon Hill said he was delighted to be reunited with the FW18 and thanked the team at Grove for getting the car back on track.
The Duke of Richmond, founder of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, said Williams were among the festival’s first teams in 1994 and that honouring Damon Hill on the 30th anniversary of his title would be a special moment, thanking Williams F1 Team – Heritage for preparing the FW18.
