Lamborghini Temerario Spyder Spied with Rigid Removable Roof, Keeps 907-HP Turbo V8

A camouflaged prototype of the 2028 Lamborghini Temerario Spyder was spied testing at the 'ring, revealing a redesigned, apparently rigid removable roof on Lamborghini’s first turbocharged supercar.

The roof appears flat under the vinyl, unlike the coupe’s scalloped center and raised side rails, which suggests the Spyder’s top is rigid rather than fabric. Lamborghini traditionally uses composite roof panels that can be stowed in the front trunk.

Photos also show a more upright, possibly smaller rear window and hint at a revised engine cover, though heavy camouflage obscures details. The Spyder is expected to retain the coupe’s turbocharged 10,000-rpm, 907-horsepower V8, and an open-top layout should improve engine audibility.

Spies reporting the sighting say the 2028 Lamborghini Temerario Spyder is slated to debut in 2027, with testing continuing ahead of its reveal.
