A 2005 Scion tC once driven by Keanu Reeves, actor and motorsport enthusiast, is up for auction on Bring a Trailer with bidding closing April 23.
The Scion tC is race-prepped with a rollcage, five-point harnesses, onboard fire suppression, upgraded brakes and clutch, and a supercharger on its 2.4-liter four-cylinder plus aftermarket headers and exhaust, for an estimated 250 horsepower.
Keanu Reeves won the Toyota Pro/Am in 2009 and drove this Scion tC in the 2010 Pro/Celebrity race; the car was later sold to a racing school based at Willow Springs, California.
Listed on Bring a Trailer, the Scion tC offers a lower-cost entry into amateur racing compared with purpose-built GR86 Cup cars, which start around $125,000 and incur ongoing per-race costs.
