Mercedes-Benz C‑Class Electric C400 4Matic Revealed: 482 HP, 350‑Mile Estimate and 800V Charging

Mercedes-Benz said a new C‑Class Electric sedan will arrive next year, with the C400 4Matic producing 482 horsepower and a 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and an estimated 350‑mile range.

The C‑Class Electric uses a 116.6‑inch wheelbase, a fastback four‑door profile and distinctive nose styling inspired by the 1959 W111; passengers gain modest headroom and the car offers 17 cubic feet of trunk space plus a 4‑cubic‑foot frunk.

The C400 4Matic is dual‑motor with a two‑speed rear transmission and a single‑speed front gearbox, and it uses an 800‑volt electrical architecture with 94 kWh usable battery capacity supporting up to 330 kW charging at compatible stations.

Regenerative braking can recover up to 300 kW and is adjustable for one‑pedal driving via steering‑wheel paddles, with traditional friction brakes available for harder stops; EPA range figures are pending.
