The TM-B’s pedal-by-wire setup converts rider pedal input into electricity to assist a separate electric motor, with a top pedaling speed of 28 mph and a 20 mph hand-throttle limit; Also estimates about 100 miles of range at the lowest level of pedal assist.
The TM-B also features a thick frame and a modular electromechanical "top frame" that replaces a traditional seatpost with multiple seating and cargo options, and Saul Leiken, a veteran of Rivian and Specialized Bicycles, gave demo rides at a Rivian showroom in Venice, California.
