Apple Maps will begin showing paid "sponsored results" on iOS and iPadOS this summer, letting businesses pay to appear at the top of local searches in Apple Maps.
The feature is available only to businesses in the United States and Canada, will surface sponsored listings atop a new "Suggested Places" section as part of the Apple Business rollout on April 14, and is limited to Maps on iOS and iPadOS rather than appearing in Apple CarPlay.
