Aston Martin Valhalla Tested at Navarra with 1,064 HP Hybrid Powertrain

Aston Martin's 2026 Valhalla plug-in hybrid was driven at the recently renovated Circuito de Navarra, a Grade T1 and Grade 2 licensed track on the edge of the Spanish Basque Country.

The Valhalla produces 1,064 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque from an electrically augmented flat‑plane‑crank V8 paired with three electric motors—two at the front and one integrated into the eight‑speed dual‑clutch transmission—and carries an approximate $1 million price. The Valhalla’s hybrid V8 approach offers a different character from the Aston Martin Valkyrie's high‑revving 12‑cylinder layout.

Circuito de Navarra’s safety certifications make it suitable for high‑speed runs and forgiving margins for hypercars like the Valhalla. On track, the Valhalla combined strong throttle response and sustained acceleration through Navarra’s sequence of corners.
