Rumors suggest BMW may revive the 6 Series as a Neue Klasse–styled coupe, and unofficial renderings posted by sugardesign_1 on Instagram show a sleek interpretation of the design.
BMW discontinued the 6 Series in 2019 when it introduced the 8 Series. Reports say 8 Series production has ended, prompting renewed speculation about the 6 Series returning.
The sugardesign_1 renders place BMW’s Neue Klasse front end on a long, low coupe with slim grille openings that integrate the headlights, producing a less chunky nose than the new i3. The rear in the images features slim taillights and a sleek diffuser, giving the coupe an athletic, modern GT appearance.
Motor1 says Neue Klasse styling will likely evolve and could lose some chunkiness as BMW applies it across new models. The publication adds the unofficial renderings show the design language can translate well to a luxury coupe.
