Bugatti’s “Caroline” One-Off W16 Mistral Features Bespoke Lavender and Hand-Painted Rear Wing

Bugatti has unveiled "Caroline," a one-off W16 Mistral commissioned through its Sur Mesure program to mark the end of the W16 engine with bespoke lavender-themed styling.

The exterior uses a custom "Lavender" paint that shifts with light and exposed "Violet Carbon" lower sections. The retractable rear wing is hand-painted with lilac and iris gradients and bears the name "Caroline."

The cabin pairs "Blanc" and "Minuit" leather with purple accents and carbon fiber, while layered floral embroidery animates headrests and door panels. The central gear selector holds the "Dancing Elephant" by Rembrandt Bugatti, the sculptor, under tinted glass.

Design and colorwork were developed between Bugatti's Molsheim headquarters and the Berlin Design Studio by the Color & Material Finish team, inspired by flowers and high fashion. The one-off was created as a tribute to the owner's daughter and showcases the millimeter-precise layering and finishing of Bugatti's Sur Mesure commissions.
