Chevrolet 1928 LM ‘Gypsy Wagon’ Custom Motorhome Back on Sale After Muscle Car City Closure

A custom 1928 Chevrolet LM one-ton "Gypsy Wagon" motorhome, which was displayed at Muscle Car City by museum owner Rick Treworgy in Punta Gorda, Florida, is back up for sale after being auctioned when the museum closed.

Hagerty reports the truck is a restomod with modern upgrades to handle traffic and carries a fully custom wooden coach fashioned to resemble historical Romani wagons, though it was not an actual Romani vehicle.

Rick Treworgy amassed hundreds of classic cars and displayed them in a converted Walmart; ownership of several companies and Florida land holdings funded those purchases, and he closed Muscle Car City in 2021 at age 72, putting most of the collection up for auction.

This Chevrolet LM conversion is being marketed again and stands out for its craftsmanship and unusual period-inspired coachwork, attracting attention from collectors and custom-vehicle enthusiasts.
