Josh Letsis, president of Always Auto in Wichita Falls, Texas, is working to close a deal on a used Chevrolet diesel truck that would include a 20-year, 500,000-mile warranty for $5,500, according to a viral TikTok clip.
Letsis told the prospective buyer the plan carries a $100 deductible per repair and excludes wear items such as belts and hoses, while covering drivetrain and other mechanical components; the truck already shows about 150,000 miles.
On the call the buyer dismissed a shorter 36,000-mile option and cited prior repairs covered by another provider, saying he had “at least $20,000 worth of work done,” including half an engine rebuild.
The TikTok clip posted by Josh Letsis at Always Auto has drawn attention online for the unusually long warranty on the Chevrolet and for the phone-call negotiation.
