Chiltier Unveils Peltier-Powered Vest and Pod for Rider Cooling and Heating

Chiltier by Psyxi Machines has unveiled a Peltier thermoelectric pod and vest that cools or warms motorcycle riders without ice, water bladders, or a compressor.

The system uses a Peltier cooler—the same thermoelectric technology found in small refrigerators—and is pitched as an alternative to evaporative vests, ice‑pack solutions, and motorcycle‑mounted refrigeration units that can lose effectiveness or cost $1,500 and up.

Kulpreet S. Sahni, founder of Chiltier in 2023 in New Delhi, developed the concept after experiencing overheating while playing golf and drawing on two decades of engineering work in gas, oil and ship design.

Sahni framed the approach as a personal climate solution that cools individuals rather than entire spaces, and Chiltier’s thermoelectric vest can also provide heating without relying on traditional compressors or consumable ice.
