Clean, Low-Mile NA Mazda MX-5 Values Surge as Rare Examples Fetch $20k–$40k

Values for early Mazda MX-5 Miata (NA) models have risen sharply, with several low-mileage, unmodified examples selling for more than $20,000 and some near-new cars reaching $35,000–$40,000.

Bring a Trailer recorded a Sunburst Yellow NA with about 20,000 miles selling for over $21,000 and another NA with 46,000 miles selling for $21,000, while a virtually unused NA with 38 miles exceeded $40,000 in 2024; an unmodified MX-5 with roughly 150 miles sold for the equivalent of $35,000 in the Netherlands in February.

The pool of pristine, rust-free NA Mazda MX-5 Miata cars has shrunk as many have been modified, parted out, or succumbed to corrosion, tightening supply on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace.
