Cleetus McFarland Takes Fourth in ARCA East at Rockingham

Cleetus McFarland (legal name Garrett Mitchell), a YouTube star and aspiring stock car racer, finished fourth in the ARCA Menards Series East feature at Rockingham Speedway on Saturday driving the No. 30 Ford Mustang for Rette Jones Racing.

McFarland was entered in three Rockingham events this weekend, including Friday's Truck race and his maiden O'Reily's race, and backed up a ninth-place finish at Daytona earlier this season with the fourth-place result at Rockingham behind Tristan McKee, Carson Brown and Isaac Kitzmiller.

He told FloRacing he had strong confidence in the Kenetix Rette Jones Racing No. 30 and said he "turned left for Greg Biffle," crediting lessons from former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, who died in a December plane crash while reportedly en route to visit McFarland; the pair had also worked together on flood relief missions after Hurricane Helene.
