Dealers Urge Bentley to Build Off‑Road Bentayga X, CEO Says

Bentley is considering a production Bentayga X after showing the off-road concept to dealers, who responded that they want the car brought to market, Bentley’s North America CEO Mike Rocco told Motor1.

The Bentayga X Concept debuted in January with a raised suspension providing 12.2 inches of ground clearance and nearly two feet of wading depth, a five-inch wider track, extended wheel arches, 22-inch wheels, and the brand’s twin-turbo 4.0‑liter V8 rated at 641 horsepower.

Mike Rocco said such a model would be a “supreme offering” and could be produced in limited numbers like Bentley’s Supersports, and he suggested it could arrive sooner rather than later amid rival interest from other luxury brands.
