Escalade IQs Nabbed in Early-Morning Theft at Detroit GM Storage Lot

Multiple Cadillac Escalade IQs were stolen from a third-party GM storage lot in Detroit around 3 a.m., and at least one Escalade IQ ended up beached on a concrete barrier after apparently being driven through the lot’s fence.

The theft on Lynch Road near Van Dyke was captured in an Instagram video showing one vehicle stuck with spinning front wheels and another with front-end damage; GM confirmed a few vehicles were taken and said it is working with authorities to recover them, and no suspects had been taken into custody as of midday yesterday.
