Ferrari Dominates Imola Prologue, Locks Out WEC Hypercar Podium

Ferrari dominated the official Prologue test for the 2026 World Endurance Championship at Imola, locking out the top three Hypercar positions with Antonio Fuoco setting the fastest time of 1m31.177s in the factory #50 Ferrari 499P.

Robert Kubica was second-quickest in the satellite #83 AF Corse entry and Antonio Giovinazzi's factory car rounded out the podium places, with light rain and a later heavier shower preventing further improvements for Ferrari.

BMW was the closest rival with Robin Frijns 0.5s back in the #20 M Hybrid V8, while Alpine's Jules Gounon and Charles Milesi finished fifth and sixth and Loic Duval was seventh in the Peugeot.

Three red flags interrupted the one-day test, the biggest after Marco Sorensen's heavy crash in the #009 Aston Martin Valkyrie that left the car damaged; an FIA electrical-network issue and a spin by Jose Maria Lopez also halted running.
