On March 16, 2026, Ferrari recalled 80 12Cilindri vehicles after pre-delivery inspections found black rear and side windows that failed FMVSS No. 205, which requires at least 70% light admittance.
Ferrari said the problem resulted from an internal error in specifying U.S. technical features and will replace the noncompliant glass free of charge while reimbursing owners who already paid; the company will notify known owners by May 15 and advises 12Cilindri owners to contact their dealer or check the NHTSA recalls page with their VIN.
