Ford Recalls 339,619 SUVS After Image-Processing Module Can Disable Camera and ADAS

Ford has recalled 339,619 SUVs — covering the 2025 Explorer, 2025 Lincoln Aviator, 2024–2025 Lincoln Nautilus and 2022–2025 Lincoln Navigator — because the Image Processing Module A can reset and disable the rearview camera and ADAS.

NHTSA documents say the IPMA can overload when tracking many people or vehicles, causing camera loss and disabling pre‑collision assist, lane‑keeping and blind‑spot monitoring, with repeated resets potentially permanently damaging those systems; Ford will offer a dealership software remedy and expects an over‑the‑air update, with dealer notices March 25 and owner notices March 30.
