Honda Cuts Prologue EV Prices $7,500, Lowers Base to $41,395

Honda announced a $7,500 price reduction for all Prologue electric SUVs, effective April 1, with the cuts applying to existing inventory and new units arriving at dealerships.

The entry-level single-motor front-wheel-drive EX now starts at $41,395 and the Touring at $46,695, both rated at 308 miles; upgrading to dual-motor all-wheel drive reduces range to 294 miles, with the AWD EX at $43,495 and the AWD Touring at $48,495. The Elite, standard with AWD, costs $51,895 and is rated at 283 miles.

Honda said the move aims to "better align pricing with the needs of our customers and market conditions" amid weaker EV demand after the federal $7,500 tax credit ended in late September, and the Prologue sold 39,194 units in 2025, ranking sixth among U.S. EVs. Honda says new units are still being produced, but the automaker has not confirmed whether the Prologue will continue into the 2027 model year.
