Honda Drops 2026 Prologue Price to $41,395 Amid Shift Toward Hybrids

Honda cut the starting price of the 2026 Prologue by $7,500 to $41,395, keeping the GM Ultium-based Prologue on sale after Honda canceled its 0-Series and Acura RSX EV plans.

The single-motor EX now starts at $41,395 and offers up to 308 miles of range, and the $7,500 reduction applies across dual-motor variants that reach up to 294 miles. The top-trim Prologue Elite is $51,895 with 283 miles due to standard 21-inch wheels, supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW (20–80% in 35 minutes) and has an available Honda-approved NACS-to-CCS adapter.

Honda has said it will refocus on hybrids including the Prelude, CR-V Hybrid and Civic Hybrid, and the company has not specified how long it will continue Prologue production.
