Kodi’s clip has more than 194,000 views and prompted commenters to urge legal action and share similar accounts, while forum and Reddit posts described comparable wheel-off incidents after rotations.
Consumer Reports recommends rotating tires every 5,000 to 7,500 miles to even tread wear, and automotive engineer Gordon Gingras said rotations also give professionals a chance to inspect tires for damage and proper inflation.
Kodi’s Honda footage and other firsthand accounts underscore the potential consequences of improper service; one Reddit poster said a tow driver found loose lug nuts after a wheel fell off, with no injuries reported.
