SangYup Lee, Hyundai design boss, told MotorTrend that "The Boulder is the beginning of a new journey of the study of body-on-frame" and said the company will develop more body-on-frame models.
Lee said Hyundai will expand its XRT subbrand with tougher trims and stronger capability, citing the Crater SUV concept and the Boulder as early examples of that strategy.
